Chronic stifle discomfort in young horses is often tied to early developmental changes. Subtle issues in bone formation that may not be visible from the surface. This is where imaging becomes essential. With light sedation to reduce stress and movement, we evaluate the patellar ligaments, femoral trochlear ridges, and surrounding structures for signs of incomplete bone development, inflammation, or congenital defects. Identifying whether we’re looking at structural abnormalities or simply inflam
