Multiple injuries have been reported and at least two people were airlifted from the scene of a crash along Interstate 88, west of the Chicago area. State police said the "two-unit crash" happened around 9:22 a.m. on westbound I-88 at milepost 71 in Ashton, located in Lee County about 30 miles west of DeKalb.
