I have only ever seen three photographs of a live quagga. They are all black and white images of the same animal at London zoo in about 1870. The last photo in the slideshow is of a 'normal' plains zebra in the neighbouring enclosure, illustrating how the most prestigious zoos tried to display 'one of everything'.
