I officially crowned myself. Because we don't have much time for this project, I kind of cheated to make the chain mail. I bought a chain hood and adjusted it to get the shape I needed. It was also impossible to find a brass/gold chain mail, so I thought why not painting it. 😀 Before I worked on the actual piece, I did some tests, and found out that metallic alcohol colors works best. I would not recommend doing this with a piece which moves a lot, but in this case it works surprisingly well. I
